    RTT vs Ground

I'm going to throw out a couple of things, RTT = heavy and expensive (for the most part), does it live on the truck ALL the time? Do you have a place to store it if removed? Or, what if you did the awning with attachable walls? You can create a tent off the side of the truck......just a...

I went with Old Man Emu 2.5" lift and JKS trackbars, lower control arms and swaybar end links. I struggled making a choice to fit MY needs, and found awesome customer service and advice that "sealed the deal" so to speak.

    Hauling the Gazelle(s)

Get the factory cross bars and put it up there. Do some squats and dead lifts with it and it will get easier to put up there  Seriously though.....on a hitch hauler it will get filthy all the time. You'll be able to sell the factory cross bars easily if you choose to later...

    Trailer Anti-theft ?

If they REALLY want your trailer, they will get it. Keep that in mind.....then, just make it harder to take than the others! Hitch locks that cover the entire coupler AND the chains.....trailers can be stolen with just the chains. Many wheel locks can be cut quickly with a battery operated...

Rethinking many aspects of our Overlanding setup and goals.

I wasn't questioning your ability or experience, just verbalizing the types of things that a person might not consider when NOT taking your approach. Mostly for others that are reading this thread as well.

Rethinking many aspects of our Overlanding setup and goals.

There is a nugget of wisdom from Ragman. Be honest with yourself! Will you really pull a trailer on a more rugged off road path? Trailering off road is challenging and your stuff will "shift" as it bounces around. Compartmentalized storage will aid with keeping things in one place. Weight is...

Rethinking many aspects of our Overlanding setup and goals.

I have thoroughly read all your thoughts and observations. You are spot on with your analysis in my experience. While I've not owned one of your selections, I'd lean towards the Bean.......see what I did there,. The underfloor storage, as is all onboard storage, very valuable.
