If that is a Renegade, which I believe it is (could be wrong) there is a video on YouTube from Hotrod magazine where they lift and off road test a Renegade, It would be worth watching. I'll see if i can find it and I'll start a new thread and tag you!

    What size of wire?

I want one heavy gauge wire running to the back where it will be distributed to the relays, then from the relays to the lights, only 2 of the relays will be powering the lights. 3 lights on one and 2 on the other. Since they are halogen bulbs I'm afraid I'll have to run jumper cable sizes lol...

2004 Jeep WJ (Red Riding Hood)

The thing that scares me about doing it myself is the uni-body design. The metal behind the bumper cover on the driver side is pretty bent. I just don't want to risk is since I am still making payments on it. Couldn't afford to pay cash at the time so my Credit Union loaned it to me. The...

    What size of wire?

I am going to be repairing a friends lights on his roof rack, I am wiring to a panel in the back of his rig and going to wire 4 relays, what size of wire should I run back there to distribute power to the lights? He has 3 6" hella halogen and 2 8" halogen. Any ideas?

    Overlanding is not Elitist!

The way I look at it, even if they are just building a mall crawler, who cares??? I'd hate to spend that kind of money on a new decked out Jeep to just take it to a trail and scratch it or dent it up. That is why I bought an older Jeep, now it won't make me sick if i scratch it.. That being...

    Overlanding is not Elitist!

Yeah this place is great about not being brand snobs... I just get irritated by snobs, who cares if its a Grand Cherokee or a Wrangler? They are both Jeeps and if theses true "Jeepers" knew anything then they would know that my WJ has the same axles under it as most any other Jeep, only real...
