Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
My only hope is the Jeep and Bronco continue to be sold in a 2 door and with a manual.
I hope at some point tbe Gladiator can be had as a 2door or even an access cab.
RAM has been listening to social media and following through. Plenty of people wanted the center console and 5 seat...
Another RAM in Bald Eagle. This is always good.
Be sure to check out our threads for Bald Eagle and PA in general.
My truck usually weighs right at 8000lbs heading to camp.
But...my truck works alot and spends many days loaded near Gross of 10k
If you do not have the CAT scale app...it is...
I have been trying to figure out what the bicker point is.
As @bgenlvtex said this is a SEMA vehicle.
The point of it is to show you what is available for the Jeep Gladiator in the Specialty equipment marketplace.
I was really getting frustrated that I even posted it.
But...now I can stop...
It is raining like crazy here. Probably be an interesting trip through the forests this weeekend.
Been pretty quiet on the PA threads. I see a bit of excitement in the New Jersey threads. And it seems the Virginians get together quite often.
Anyone been out and about...or have a trip planned.
@Brewbud
All 4 generations of flame red RAM trucks in 2 posts.
Sure do love the flame red RAM s.
I do not habe the 4th Gen Cummins anymore...but I still have the 2nd Gen.
I really like the 2020
Got a load of firewood to split. And we got some measurable snow this morning.
Regular camping season is over. Sure wish I could get out to the forest...but the honey do list has grown from all the weeekends we blew it off to go camping.
Hope to get some trail time soon. Maybe hit a campsite...
I have been pondering the argument here in this thread.
I have lived in Central PA for 43 years. When I was a child most all of the land around my hometown was a strip mine at sone point. My earliest recollections of the land use argument come from about 7 years old.
From 7 years old til I...
Here is a CAT scale slip of my truck with a load of wood.
Notice how most of the weight goes to the rear.
My truck. 10000 GVWR 2998 payload. 7002 base weight
Front GAWR 5500
Base. 4201
Rear GAWR 6000
Base. 2800
Hope this helps. Or atleast shows a point of view.
If you notice your axle ratings add up to 8000lbs
There are components other than the axles that make the 7100lb GVWR.
For instance. A 4th Gen RAM has a 6900lb GVWR. For the 5th Gen they gave RAM 1500 6 lugs and bigger brakes. And a GVWR of 7100.
