    What is your rigs name

    This is a funny subject... Awhile back I started a poll about naming my Jeep XJ. Blue Steel was decided to be the name, yes...as in the movie Zoolander. So, my rig is named Blue Steel thanks to you lovely gentlemen here at Overland Bound haha

    Yes my family is fine...it missed us by less than a mile so we were fortunate to not have any damage. But, there is a TON of damage elsewhere. Just google Kokomo, IN tornado for pics and news coverage for images of how intense it got here. Read somewhere we had a total of 8 tornados touch...

    Snorkel, water.. Why?

    I have a snorkel on my XJ, mainly for dust and dirt evasion. But, if i do encounter deep water (which is rare) I have the peace of mind knowing i stand a better chance of not sucking water in the intake.

    Ok.. Now that all maintenance has been done (All U-joints, fluids, filters, seals, wheels beariings, etc..) it is time for a lift.. The lift has been ordered and will be on soon! Keep checking back..

    I have a Gerber (Fiskars) and have been pretty happy with it. The fiberglass handle makes me a little nervous but it seems pretty durable. It is a multipurpose axe.

    I run a portable ViAir 400P compressor. Been very happy with it! It has been through 3 different rigs and performed flawlessly from 29.5in tires up to 33's.
