Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I have used my hitch as a recovery point before, I don't recommend it. Hitch's aren't meant to be jerked around like what you would expect from a recovery effort. If you have factory tow points, use them. If you don't look into aftermarket companies that make recovery point kits for your rig...
Also, Corey sold me his old XJ (it was green, not my current one) and he did the Durango box swap on that one along with the JCR steering box spacer. He may be able to answer any questions about that too, since he's done it.

I am planning a family trip for around mid to end of July 2018. My wife, 2 sons and me will be going in my XJ with a small expo trailer. What are some trails with great views, but yet not too technical or dangerous since I'll have my family with me?
