Factory tow point or use hitch?

I have used my hitch as a recovery point before, I don't recommend it. Hitch's aren't meant to be jerked around like what you would expect from a recovery effort. If you have factory tow points, use them. If you don't look into aftermarket companies that make recovery point kits for your rig...

    Four Max Traxes or Two?

You need to have at least 8, maybe more. You basically want to calculate how much your rig cost, divide by 2 and spend that much on Maxxtrax lol

    Princess the 97 XJ...

Also, Corey sold me his old XJ (it was green, not my current one) and he did the Durango box swap on that one along with the JCR steering box spacer. He may be able to answer any questions about that too, since he's done it.

http://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/durango-steering-box-upgrade-3805/ Here is a link to a how to thread on the Durango box swap. Also, go with the JCR box spacer. Call them, ask for Corey- tell him Jordan Brooks sent you. I run all JCR gear, American made and GREAT people to work with.

That sucks, man.. Any local friends that can come help or are you a member of any local off-road groups?
