Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Yup, you're right I was typing Club Van and added the cab for some reason, crew cab was for the 4 door pick-ups.
One last revision Ford Club Wagon not Club Van.
I had a 59 GMC Carryall with a 401 V-6 in it. I was a BIG 1 ton 4wheel drive, had barn doors in the back and was a US Govt survey truck. It was 10 1/2 feet from the back of the front seat to the back doors. It was stolen by my ex-partners druggy son, I wish I still had it.
The right gearing for the tires and terrain you want to run in will make a big difference.
OME makes good stuff and I think it's worth the money.
A little more information would be great. What transmission do you have, what gear ratio do you have? It's hard to help with no info.
I woke up to a white Christmas, had elk backstrap, potatoes and gravy for a late lunch. Now I'm having a cup of fresh ground, fresh brewed coffee while I surf the web, all in all a very good day.
My Labs each got a new stuffed toy and I got a very nice cigar.
Other than inner diameter the wheel has nothing to do with the tire size. You can use your 17" wheels and get a smaller diameter tire easier and cheaper than buying both wheels and tires.
Unless you're going from something like a 37 12.5 17 to a 30 9.50 15 I don't think you'll lose much weight...
Why do you want to go with 15" over 16" or 17"? I still run 15's on my Willys and tires are getting hard to find, there are a ton of 16 and 17" tires out there and probably will be for quite a while.
I agree that there are some shops that would do a half ass job just to get a vehicle out and get paid, I used to hate shops like that. I made a lot of money fixing the stuff they screwed up, sad thing is there really isn't a reason for it other than just being lazy, not knowing what the hell...
When I was in the market for a small propane heater I looked at them. Depending on which one I looked it had an altitude restriction between 4500' and 6500'. I live at 7000' and do most of my camping between 6000' and 9500' so it wasn't the heater for me.
I have 2 of Iceco's fridge/freezers and I think they are great. I'm glad I took time to do some reading and went with them over some of the others I was thinking about buying.
I know you'll like yours too!
