Above tips are good, I have done a lot of solo off-road adventuring on my motorcycle and, knock on wood, have been safe. Just err on the side of caution and you should be ok. Spot Trackers are great items to call for help if you have no cell service and there is no radio communication out there.

It is on the calendar, hope to make it there.

Here are some taken today at Borrego Springs, went to see the wildflowers. Got there at 7 AM and left by 9 AM as it was just crazy . So many people and a traffic jam getting into town that lasted for miles. These are taken with the iPhone, now to process the photos from my Nikon.

Bought a roof rack. Next month it will be ADF 2" lift for my Subi.

This sunrise is close to home as I was out on a bicycle ride at th e beach. Bolsa Chica State Beach, Huntington Beach, CA. Only had the iPhone and had to take it out of my pocket quick as this only lasted a few minutes.
