Jerry Can safe for drinking water

There are plenty of water can options for much less than $100.00. Maybe not as "cool" as a military water can but just as effective. If the Scepter cans are good enugh for the military it is good enough for me. Used Scepter water cans can be found here in El Paso for $20.00. Try Walmart ...

    Portable Grill Recommendations

I have been using a Coleman Fold and Go grill for about 10 years. I removed the hinges and made the lid like a cover. Nice and compact. You can also get a griddle and pot rack to make the grill more versatile.

Any dispersed camping near Ship Rock, NM?

It is difficult to find free camping on Tribal land. If you decide to drive up to Shiprock , bring a trash bag and help clean up all the beer bottles, cans and other trash out there. The last time I was out there I filled a 30 gallon bag with much more out there.

Big Bend National Park, 17-30 June, 2019

It is already in the 100's in Big Bend. I suggest you camp in Chisnos Basin campground. It will be cooler up there. Then you cam make day trips from there. Here is a link to a two part series I wrote for Toyota Trails magazine on a Big bend trip we did. WordPress.com

Camping For Free App Now Available, Worldwide
