Full time overland rig - Tundra or F-150

Everybody is a noob at some point, what separates you from some is you want to learn. and I love the frying pan quote, having both been through there and lived in Tulsa for a while, know the weather well. Still better than a Fargo winter though :)

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

I miss all the good stuff lately, would love to lend a hand but have to pack up the wife and get her headed to Ohio. Her dad just had a double bypass yesterday. Almost bachelor life for a while, got to teach the 14 year old to be self-sufficient for a bit (he can't ask mom for everything, will...

And while Ram's have a very decent turning radius for what they are, one of the best in class for their size, I won't be found on Black Bear Pass in her.

Full time overland rig - Tundra or F-150

I'll do it the easy way, but more are found in the windshield pics section between pages 17-20 area, adding just a few to show the mostly desert and mountains I frequent in eastern Washington and Oregon. I often travel as a solo vehicle on these runs seen in pics (except the dunes, play day...

Full time overland rig - Tundra or F-150

I have the 2014 Ram 1500 with the 3.6, plenty of power and the 8 spd works well, been solid for over 100K so far and the only thing I have replaced have been the tires, belt, both pretty much on schedule, and the factory battery gave up after 6 years. The issue I find for the Ram of this vintage...

Thanks for the invite, sounds like a fun time, but I unfortunately probably won't be able to come out and play as I may be looking at rotator cuff surgery in Feb :( Not sure the doc would want me bouncing his handiwork around.

Use the CB sure, I'd prefer not to have to use the tool roll though ;) Hope to Get a chance to meet this next year.

What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

Would that qualify it for RTT status? :)

What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

Well, I didn't technically buy, but the wife did get me a new CB and a tool roll for Christmas. And this is why I make a list for her to pick from on amazon :)

    The Tri-Cities Clubhouse

I know I have been gone for a while now, and I have no real good excuse, but like many people I got rolled up in life and put the overland part of me on back burner way too long. Wanted to take a minute to thank all of you that I met or chatted with this year as we go through this holiday time...

Still alive, but been away too long. Trying to find a way back, dragged down by work lately.

    Isuzu Trooper Owners Poll

I have the same love/hate issue with Land Cruisers, love the rig, but the price of a starting point is ridiculously high. So I looked that direction, but having had a first gen trooper and its ability, I know they can do most things very well on a most budget build. Independent4x is probably the...
