Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
When it comes to old Internationals that is a very very deep rabbit hole you went down. See you on the other side. Some of us Just Internationals club members are talking about a convoy to the Rocky Mountain IH Rendezvous next July. The more the merrier, and we want group discounts on tows.
If you find the Allison transmission and bellhousing is too big too fit in your Travelall a 4L80E was also used behind the 8.1 in the Suburbans. I have 8.1 and NV4500 for my 66 International PU. They are excellent engines. Looking forward to seeing this next year at the Binder Bash?
Bring it to the Binder Bash it's Saturday in Stateline just east of Spokane, I think we're having a For Sale section. Even if you don't bring it come and look at cool old Internationals, bring yours too running or not.
Man this looks like fun. June and July are super busy for me with both my sons getting married and then a school bus convention I have to attend for work July 29. Looks like fun. Wish I could make it, even for part of it.
Definitely go with the medium duty Eaton Fuller transmission and SAE bellhousing so you can run a big clutch. I would also go with the Rockwell transfercase if you have a line on one.

I picked up a 78 GMC 3/4 ton years ago for cheap with a SM465 and NP205 combo, didn't move because that 10 spline coupler was no longer whole. I would probably go with a 6bt just because it's a bus and I think a 4bt or 4bd1t would be working pretty hard to move that load. If you're going to...
I'm not happy with the increase but Oregon State Parks are the gold standard I compare all other state parks too. So far none have come close. As long as the funds are actually used for the Oregon State Parks and not siphoned off by politicians I'm ok with it.
