Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
We go to western Montana a lot. All through out the region, actually. We did a large trip out of Superior last year. I’ll try to make sure you’re included on the Rally Points.
I have the radio, so far, I like it. I got mine on a group buy.
The locator beacon is something I often wonder if I should have. There are cheaper ones out there then that one, and they all supposedly work the same. I have an InReach coming, and I know it’s not the same technology as a personal...
I want something half the size this time, probably less. The new one will be reverse flow with a warming box. It will be on wheels and towable. I haven’t found a tank I like yet, but haven’t been looking hard either. I enjoy building pits, it’s a lot of fun making the smoke flow the way you want...

Does anyone else have problems finding ground straps now? Or is it just this area? I have a hard time even finding one for a battery ground. I like to hold stuff in my hands before I buy it, but I’m going to have to order some of these!

I ordered one yesterday. I hope it works as well as the rest of Frontrunners stuff. It may need a no ground plane antenna, though.
Lowes can order in one for you. Propane tanks are not always the easiest to get delivered, as they are a hazmat issue. I ordered mine online and had it shipped to store. Try Ace Hardware also, they had a better price.
