We’re planning a trip to do the Whipsaw this summer. I plan on exploring as much of British Columbia and Alberta as I can in the next few years.

I want something half the size this time, probably less. The new one will be reverse flow with a warming box. It will be on wheels and towable. I just run my stove off the 5lb. When I upgrade to heaters and such, I’ll also mount a 20lb.

Does anyone else have problems finding ground straps now? Or is it just this area? I have a hard time even finding one for a battery ground. I like to hold stuff in my hands before I buy it, but I’m going to have to order some of these!

No you can not. Those are 20 lb tanks. The 5 lb have to be ordered.

That’s good to know. I will probably end up with 2 of these mounts, one for my dual band, one for my 3db gmrs antenna. I’m looking forward to trying it.

Lowes can order in one for you. Propane tanks are not always the easiest to get delivered, as they are a hazmat issue. I ordered mine online and had it shipped to store. Try Ace Hardware also, they had a better price.
