@TheDonutAllStar have you been to windrock before? I'm trying to see who might know good trails. it looks like there are plenty of tame trails, but I just want to make sure we don't "accidentally" go rock crawling lol.

The primitive campsite rules mention limit of 2 vehicles per site and no pop ups, BUT I just talked with someone at Windrock and it looks like off-road vehicles don't count since they being used on the trail. RTT's are accepted as well. so long as the tent has fabric/canvas walls. There is the...

How does March 22-24 sound? I’ll have to do more research on campsites and permits. It looks like there’s a few regulations/limitations as to how many vehicles/tents can be used in their sites. If this comes together I’ll start a separate conversation thread on here and put a link to it in here.

I’d be willing to plan a trip out to windrock in a month or 2. I think late March would work well. It’s a great time of year to camp in TN too.

Ditto I might come out if I had a days notice. I love LBL but I'd like to check out some other areas around the state. maybe in the Knoxville and Chat areas. If anyone has experience in those areas please let me know. I'm happy to help plan if you know where we can wheel and camp.

Not sure which day you all decided but I have the map for whoever wants it. I’m in south nashville and will be running a few errands today. I’m happy to lend it out to anyone in need. I’ve done about 80% of it and have it pretty well mapped on my gps.
