What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

What LED fogs did you have? I went with some from Diode Dynamics, they were replacement housings, bad A and recommend. They project a WIDE as in across 4 lanes of the freeway to each side, then up the cement medium a few feet, but unless you drive a slammed minitruck or sport car you will not...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

I installed bumper lights. (actually Monday but just getting on here). Rigid Q2 combo. Not too big to block airflow, nice and bright, unique- VERY unique I get all sorts of looks now and no it is not just the snorkel. That with the E2 40" up top makes for a stupid amount of light on the X...

12v Hella plug on National Luna Fridge

I have an ARB fridge, so maybe it may not apply, but even on the ARB fridge, I hacked off (after verifying polarity first) the 12V cig lighter adapter, but left a little bit of a pig tail. Then I attached Anderson powerpoles to both the fridge cord end, and the 12V cig adapter end, so even if...

    Quick overnighter in the Unitas

Been a month since I was out and I had a itching to go. Family did not want to camp in the low 30s (*cant blame them, I'm weird and love to winter camp) call a few friends, and none could make the short notice trip, so I said, I'm going. First patch of off road was Spring Canyon Road from the...

Pictures of your XTerra and location!

I assume you mean bottom? That is Chalk creek road in the Unitas. Middle is the road to little deer creek campground from mineral basin. Top is after a run to Willard peak. I live in Murray, replied to your post about Utah trails. Im highly considering heading up to the Uintas this weekend (sat...

Trixter404's 2011 Nissan Xterra Build & Adventure Thread

I lifted a hair over 3" with my setup. My truck is a 2015. Adjusting the ball joint to be like "D" (0*) in the SPC instructions, and pushing the ball join in as far as it can go, I ended up having to take off 3/4" almost 1" of material. Now you only need to do this, at the exact point the ball...

Trixter404's 2011 Nissan Xterra Build & Adventure Thread

Also, not sure if you are aware so I am going to just toss it out there, sorry if it is a repeat but maybe someone later who buys the SPC arms wont run into this issue... You are likely going to have to trim a little bit of the shock tower to allow the control arm to get to full droop without...

    On Board Compressor Review

I also have a 88P. Good compressor. I just retired it to the toolbox now that I have my air compressor installed (ARB CKMTA12) and wired. For the last few weeks I have been driving a partially gutted truck since the head gasket in my Honda decided to go out. But considering it as 4K and I drove...

    Utah Inquiry, no pics yet

I'm down whenever I'm not working (average 70 hours Mon-Fri) always try to keep weekends off. Could do spring canyon trail up mirror lake highway, starts at the exit of the Duchene Tunnel and runs up the Trial lake. Its a little rocky but fun FR-041 if you want to check it out on your favorite...

Trixter404's 2011 Nissan Xterra Build & Adventure Thread

Nice plates, I went the shrockworks route, but they are all about the same. One thing, did you replace the oil drain plug with a valve? It makes changing the oil super easy and less of a mess with skid plates. I went with a Femco valve and bought 3 hoses, one for the truck (keep it in tool boxes...

    USGI MSS ~ Bivy Bag

I have a room full of bags hanging from rafters in mesh laundry bags, the MSS is a sweet system, more so for the price. Its bulky, but it does work. I also have 4 similar Wiggys setups. The Wiggys mummy bags are designed around the MSS bivy as well, and have have bid on making the MSS a few...

Man, those ARBs just barely fit that hardcore opening. I will be picking up some Rigid Q2s this month to go on my bumper. Your rig looks good man.

Where did you install your OB emblem?

Fender, below the American Flag vinyl. Have one on each side, the flag is mirrored with the stars forward per flag display standards. I think the emblems are great, thanks the Micheal and team for the product.

    2013 Jeep JKU Overland Build

Mini trucking to Jeeping! That's a first, HAHA. Good start to your rig man. You will like the Garvin rack. I have the interior rack in my Xterra. Super useful, well designed, and solid. Keep us updated as you progress on your rig.

    My Xterra overland rig- leeloo

If your local to utah Ill sell you my Shrock so I can get a Maxterra rear.. being able to hold the shovel/ axe, 10 extra gallons of liquid and extra lighting makes it well worth it in my book. Nothing wrong with the shrock, just want more carry capacity and to support a local vendor who is a...
