yes I have went in there also with my son in law and we hiked in to Y kids camp/Wigwam club . hiked and fly fished from there to Schoonover gulch then hiked up the face back to the trail and hiked out, that was tuff on this old man he's in the army there at FT Carson so it was a breeze for him...

yes the Dream stream is great place and the wind does blow, and Cheeseman canyon is a good place also, dang I'm ready to go back now its spring time I'm getting cabin fever!!!!!!!

I have been up there and still go about 4-5 times a yr to see my kids and go fly fishing in 11 mile reservoir, deckers area, love it up in that area

not sure what your seeing unless ,is it what go's all the way across below the roof and just above the door? if so it is the track for the awning. There is one above side entry door also, need to get pics with both awnings up..
