Three Years, 60,000 miles, Fifteen States and a lot of fun.

That looks really good. I just did not have it in me to rebuild the thing which is not typical of me. I hate rework with a passion. LOL I bought the Decked system and installed it yesterday and it's magnificent. Worth every penny in my book and you know I hate these big spenders. Really. LMAO...

Three Years, 60,000 miles, Fifteen States and a lot of fun.

So funny story. The idea was pretty good but designed around the height of the toilet. Did all this in a hurry to go to a rally race in the forest and work as a marshal. Anyway, did all that and slept in the back that night. Around 3am woke up and had to crap. Dude. I looked like a fricken...

Need help with an under hood dual battery setup and wiring

Cheaper Heat is one reason. Heat kills batteries just like cold. Second, the house batteries are for off road lights, referigator, additional radios etc. You should try to never run accessories off the "truck" battery if possible. Some guy in Detroit in a leather chair designed the truck...

Three Years, 60,000 miles, Fifteen States and a lot of fun.

So after several months of wrestling with this twin bed setup I'm done. I've had it. Out it came the last two days and in comes the drawer system which arrives tomorrow. I put in the gasket on the topper and put the headache rack back on. Mounting the antennas back and doing a rewire of the...

Need help with an under hood dual battery setup and wiring

I agree with the house battery NOT in the engine bay. I run a 8ga wire to my truck bed and use a redarc battery isolator to keep it charged. I don't have that big BCDC money. Don't need it either. Zim

Looking for recommendations for new tires.

So I've sold, mounted and balanced thousands of tires from Georgia to Oklahoma and this is my pick. Cooper AT3 Most of these headed to the oil fields in ND and Texas. Super tough Firestone AT2 (currently on my F250) with 50k Religious tire rotations at 3500 miles and 3 alignments a year, like...

    7 man caravan

I also rode to work in this death trap for eight years. Yup, eight years. If you missed this trap, you had to get on the overflow boat. 33' open utility boat and when we hit the break wall the waves came over the bow. Arrived at work soaking wet. Great way to start the day.

    7 man caravan

This was me but we had no end lockers. Just the coffin locker. I spent a decade on 3 ships and have scars on my forehead to prove it. LOL Zim midway08_5in_30.jpg (480×720) (letsgoseeit.com)

    Scottles Worth the Price?

I've seen more youtubers burn up food on these than not. I've been camping for 60 years and it still don't make any sense. More of a show than producing a meal. Zim
