Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Some really really old pictures from the Badlands when I was still in school. This was an outing with PORC (Purdue Off Road Club).
Bad pics, but from a 2002 quality point & shoot.
This was my 1996 Ford Explorer Sport. I put a Ford Ranger body lift on it. Cranked the tbars, ran some Mesa AP...
I think it's safe to say that Indiana has more than just corn to offer. You might have to drive through 100 miles of corn, but you'll get somewhere eventually ;)
I'm sure you can tell by now, that we do most of our "overlanding" by foot. We like to use the truck to get us to a destination, but then we prefer to hike it out and backpack as much as possible. Looking forward to doing some actual back country pack camping next year.
I don't often get out to offroad parks, as they aren't really my thing, but the next set of pics is from the Badlands Offroad Park in Attica Indiana.

I'll keep this an on going picture thread as I often get out and takes lots of pictures. A lot of photos will be from the HNF (Hoosier National Forest), but I'll try to leave a comment on different areas.
An old abandoned bridge just south of the Yellow Wood State Forest.
Checking out...

Just recovery. We have used them once to bridge with an Xterra. We only used one board instead of two. It bent in an L shape. We thought it was goner. Surprisingly it sprang right back with no cracks. It might have worked using two, but the one negative point about the MAXSA boards is that...
For water storage I use a 7 gallon Reliance Jumbo-Tainer that I picked up at REI. I've only used it on one trip so far, but it worked.
For dry storage I use the Plano 1919 Sportsman Trunk that I picked up from Dick's Sporting Goods. I bought two of them, but have only used one so far. They...
Haha, this truck has been scratched all to hell. I've been through HNF a dozen times, Daniel Boone National Forest, Dirt Devil, and Land Between the Lakes. I just had it detailed last week, which got a majority of the scratches out, but it has it's battle scars. I did get some scratches the...
