  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. Propane Bottle Mounts- Show Us Yours

Probably won't help the OP much, but might give ya ideas. I built one for a 5# tank on my Land Rover. Check my blog for the full story; https://poppageno.blogspot.com/2020/05/land-rover-109-propane-tank-mount.html https://poppageno.blogspot.com/2020/05/propane-tank-mount-for-109-page-2.html

Too Much Information will destroy what we do.

Richard, I know, the largest group of Rovers I've been with was 22. It can take foooreeveer for some folks to get ready to go. Yes. I want to share and socialize and sometimes be slow and lazy myself, but I will avoid the big name destinations due to crowds. Sometimes 2 can be too many. ;^)...

Too Much Information will destroy what we do.

Probably going to hurt some feelings here, not my intent though. Yes, the more we share online our favorite or not so favorite places the more use they are likely to get. I started mountain biking in the early 80's, gradually the trails became more used and erosion took place at a higher...

    Land Rover Registry

Nice, congrats! On a side note, IIRC Butch Cassidy robbed 2 trains using dynamite, the car attendant both times was a man named Woodcock who refused to open the door.

    Any help

Tioga Pass, Hwy 120, is already closed, so it's a long drive around from Mammoth to Yosemite. If you go boondocking and the road/trail gets sketchy, get out and walk it a bit rather than getting into a sticky turnaround or long reverse. You are in SD, so I'd do Yosemite, Sequoia (they even...

    Stand for MWC

I converted my MWC lid to hold a pump, so I don't need to pour it. The pump is a marine pump and moves water on both the pull and push. I bought it at West Marine. Need off line, stand alone, PC based mapping software. Anyone doing this?

Not sure this is what you need, I've used it for mountainbiking, granted I printed out maps not downloaded gpx files, though it says you can do them or KML files. www.mapmyride.com

    Done with ground tent

I suggest what ever you want to purchase find something nearby in a combination near to what you want, RTT on a 80series(?) or on your homebuilt trailer. Then set it up and down a couple of times and climb in and out, see if that is something you and the Missus want to/can be doing on the trail...
