3" Dominator kit with sway bar. I usually do all my own work. This is the first time I am having somebody else do the suspension on one of my Jeeps or trucks. It feels strange.
LOL. Actually, I have had the replacement for 6 months now. It was just so hard to let go of the faithful 2007. I did get tired of neighbors asking me why I had two big red Rams in my driveway though. LOL
Carli suspension going on next week.
That is some bad luck. I have been running around with two spares on the big trips. And of course, I have only had one flat. Like carrying an umbrella to insure it won't rain I guess.
I only had to look at my old school BFG ATs and they would spring a leak. Fortunately, most of the hybrid...
After posting the tires I realized I had to buy a bed step to get in the back now so I guess that is my last purchase. Also not sure why my thumbnails are working.
Tire tech has made advancements in the last few years. If you want a good balance tipped to a little more offroad use, go with a newer hybrid tire like the Yoko X-AT, Nitto Ridge Grappler or Toyo Open Country RTs. More highway go for a flavor in the ATS style. I have been a Yoko owner for...
For now, I will just grin and bear it as I fill up my truck at whatever price they have. It does gripe me that the dang pump shuts off before the tank is full due to their $ limit. Once I start filling up the passage-making (overwatering?) vessel it will be too hard to ignore. 1000 gallons...
Jeep may do it. My wife is interested in the Jeep 4xe plug-in hybrid. Looks interesting. Not a big battery - maybe 25 miles on a charge. But you can select when you use the battery. As a hybrid, or just as full electric. Be kind of cool using battery for the majority of a trail. When the...
I have had tire pressure gauges that were off by as much as 5 psi but never 10. The gauges that are mounted to the air compressors usually only read correctly when the pump is off and let to set a few seconds. My vehicles all run different tire pressures front and rear so I built a 2 tire...
My ARB twin fills the 37s on my Rams fast. I fill two at a time. I went for years with a lot smaller compressor. I have tanks of both CO2 and Nitrogen but I usually leave those at home. Sometimes I will take a tank in the truck bed. Never in my enclosed Jeep though.
I haven't tried that method for ice cream. I assume with a large enough mouth on the insulated bottle it would. I have kept Klondike bars ice cream in my ARB for a couple of days though. I put them in the center of the fridge and put a 1" thick piece of closed-cell foam over the plastic...
