    Camper shell or no camper shell?

    Have a metal one with rtt, it has side doors with a shelf on one side and access on the other. I can take it off and put it on by use my winch. Fiberglass is pretty not functional.

    Do not forget to take the synthetic line off once a quarter or twice a year wash the dirt and sand out to extend line life.

    Made my own trailer 2 tj tubs. Fiberglass camper shells are not strong, look at the metal ones for rtt. If you go with a camper top, take snug foam and plug all gaps and hole for dust under the bed rails.

    I run a/t tire on the road and a second set of m/t for trails on steel rims.

    Vehicle Security - the rig itself.

    On my cj had a steel plate made that locked the twin stick atlas in f/r low and the trans in reverse bolt cutter proof lock. Battery and fuel remote cut off switches.

    4" lift with 33" tire and research the lift kit. Quality and strength over cheap.

    Can't help on the lift except to say bds has great lift kits. I would do a drum to disc brake conversion on the rear axle.

    My wife is 5ft tall so I used the floor mount and installed and English saddle stirrup. When not in use it sits on the floor.
