I have to say this thread is my favorite thread on the forum. Keep it up, folks! One question though. Some of the photos have great resolution. Others are small and harder to view. Is this because some are posting from Tapatalk or something?
Soft shackles are great to have in addition to your hard shackles. I find I use my soft shackles mostly to connect two or more straps together in a pull. If you just loop a strap to a strap they can jam and become extremely difficult to separate. We used to use a magazine or something similar...
If I was running a roof rack I would run one of the lightbars like the ones here: Chase Bars
They come in different sizes and sections can have different light colors. For me: Red attached to brake lights on the two outside, Amber just inboard of those, and white work lights in the middle
A little trick if you want ice for mixed drinks and don't have a dual-zone fridge freezer. Fill a double-wall vacuum insulated bottle with ice and keep it in your fridge. I have done this for over 4 days and never had the ice melt in my ARB which I keep a little above freezing. I use the Yeti...
If I could only pick between those two, it would be the Cherokee for sure. For the places I go out here in the west low range is important. Locker is nice to have but I want low range.
I modified my mount that was in my 2007 Ram for my 2020 Ram. The rear door is wider and it works better. Since the platform is on the load flat floor I don't really need to slide it out to access the items inside. It does make it easier to install/remove the fridge in the truck.

Do you get any wag pulling the trailer? It is killing me driving mine around stock. I have the full pintop on order but it looks like I won't be getting the suspension until February at the earliest.
Nice truck! I have Carli 2.5s on my 2007 and have them on order for my 2020. How do you like having the coils in the rear? It was one of my worries when I bought the 2020. I like the bag setup. Which one is it?
I went with a Goal Zero Lithium 1000 because I got a good deal on it. I really wanted to build my own. It still would have been cheaper to build my own but it would have been bigger and less portable. Battery, 1500W/3000W peak inverter, MPPT charge controller, 5 volt USB DC-DC converter, and...
I was planning to take my test before all this Q came about. I briefly looked at the online testing and it seemed the requirements for the test environment were pretty strict. I guess I need to look into online testing again. Do you need to have a movable video camera and not just the fixed...
