Some 17s will work on the 2500s. I am not sure about 1500s. I am running 17" Raceline Avengers (not beadlock version) on my 2020 2500. They need to be mindful of where they put the wheel weights.
Some good ideas here. I usually take at least a 20lb tank with me strapped into one of my gas tank holders on my jeep. Here in SoCal you can't have a wood fire most of the year. I take a propane fire pit at those times of the year so a 20lb tank is needed.
I bought mine right away. I only used it once or twice without the cover. I believe it helps some. It seemed to cycle on less but there are many variables to account for such as temp of the day, whether parked in shade or not etc so it is hard to tell. I like it for the added protection it...
I have that same X2power AGM in my LJ right now. I have had Odyssey and Optimas that are similar starter/combo styles. They are a great compromise but they are still not as trickle drain friendly has a full deep cycle battery. I use my Lithium GZ battery for powering my Fridge. The biggest...
I don't have much experience with ACC on my Ram but I set it for the closest following when on a multi-lane freeway. It makes it less "brake happy" and touchy when someone cuts in front of me. I can slow it down at a more reasonable pace than what the ACC wants to do. I adjust my following...
For what it's worth, I have a Lithium 1000 Goal Zero and a 100W folding panel. It keeps my ARB 63qt where I have it set at 33-34 degrees F in 80 degree weather. The solar panel usually has the battery back to full by about Noon -1:00 pm.
Yikes! I have seen them mentioned before but never saw one priced out. Nice to be able to charge while driving I guess. When camped I prefer to park my rig in the shade if possible though.
Look into the Daystar Air Bag Cradles. They claim to not limit travel. I haven't used the product but I know others that have. I pulled my bags when I decided to go full suspension.
Fulls have a much better ride than the mini-packs. I had the mini-packs on for a year or so before I...
I guess I shouldn't feel that strange about it. It Carli is doing the install in their R&D bay so I know it will be done right. I had their full leaf springs on my 2007 I just sold. They made a huge difference in the ride. I did lose some weight capacity but I don't tow much so it was never...
It just feels strange having someone else do the work instead of me. I have never had anyone else work on my trucks. I have a 2500 with coils in the rear.
My new truck has heated/vented seats and a heated steering wheel. Do I need them? No. Do I like them? Absolutely. Are they complicated? No. If they break you have a normal steering wheel and seat.
I sure wish my LJ had them! If I buy another vehicle I will pick those two options...
