Dometic Fridge + Jackery Wiring Help

You could make it real simple and just put an ON/OFF switch on the hot wire and turn it off manually when you turn off the Jeep. It's simple but yes, you can forget. Don't forget.

I love Gaia, but I really wish...

I like how you can organize information into folders and turn on visibility at the folder and item level. Helps to show me only what I need to see.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

I installed Airlift 1000 air bags today on my Mojave. Took about 90 minutes with a second set of hands. We did not remove the springs and it went pretty well overall. At 10psi the bed just started to lift a little. I have a long 800 mile trip tomorrow so I'm going to leave it like that to see...

    Refrigerator Wiring

I know the Dometic 12v power cord has an Engel connection built into it. I think ARB does too. You unscrew the cigarette lighter portion and it exposes the other 2 blade connector. I bought this and it provides a secure screw in connection.

What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

I just purchased a set of Air Lift 1000 rear suspension helper bags. I'm getting near load capacity and wanted a little help with suspension sag.

    Camp saw.

What do those with electric chain saws recommend for length? I'm looking at a 12" or 16" model. $100 difference in cost. Don't want to pay for more than I'll realistically need. New to all this so don't have much background to pull from.

    Refrigerator & Battery Question

Just passing this along because I found it of interest. One thing I read about the smaller Bluetti systems is that although you are allowed to charge & discharge at the same time (Pass-Thru Charging), it is not recommended to use it often as it puts a lot of strain on the battery. The...

Do I really need to bring extra gas?

I stored 2 RotoPax gas cans inside the cab overnight out of caution so they wouldn't get stolen. It smelled of fuel inside for 2 days. I was so glad I didn't have a long drive that next day. Don't recommend it.
