First big trip will be to Overland Expo West, other than that just some shakedown overnighters here and there. Then this summer who knows, seems like we'll have to vote on going back to Colorado or Maine. I haven't checked out what Maine has to offer for dispersed camping yet, though.
I would think/expect that brand promotion wouldn't be allowed, like if the folks at OGT came on here trying to get people to buy their trailers then that would be a no-no and I'd agree with that.
While I'm here, my OGT Pando 2.0 shipped today and should be here Sunday or Monday. To say I'm...
If I were going to do a year-long trip or go full-time then I would form a rough plan for where I want to go, the time of year for each area, etc and then figure out the gear I need to be comfortable for the typical climates but also be able to handle extreme cold snaps or heat (survival mode)...
I don't see why not, that falls in line with that this subforum is for. Discussing factory-built, not homemade, trailers. This singular thread is for OB forum members to discuss OGT's trailers. Seems like the most relevant location on these forums for such a thread, no? :)
If not then there...
Um, this subforum is specifically for factory-manufactured trailer discussions, Off Grid Trailers is a brand of factory-manufactured trailers. Your post is a bit nonsensical given the context of this thread and where it was posted.
Subject could be updated to state "Off Grid Trailers (OGT) brand Owner's Thread" and maybe update the original post to clarify. I get what you're saying, though, and it's understandable for folks that don't know this is a brand, so some clarification wouldn't be unreasonable.
Ultimately, you need to determine what is freezing and causing your low flow problem. If the regulator is freezing then the higher flow from a 5LB tank won't matter (yes, they can have a higher flow rate due to the larger valve and orifice). If the problem is that the "high" flow rate from the...
It actually isn't more temp stable than air, "air" and nitrogen expand and contract the same with temperature changes, what makes the difference is what was mentioned previously; Moisture content inside the tire. If you had 2 tires, one with 100% dry nitrogen and one with 100% dry air, with no...
@WAA96 You mentioned safety as one of the reasons for having a radio, and while having multiple methods of communication available (cell, ham/GMRS) is always a good idea those won't do you any good if there's no signal or nobody on the other end to pick up your transmission. If safety while out...
Also, just to be clear, joining the forums doesn't make you a member. You get your number when you pay for an OB membership. It can be a little confusing for new members because there are 2 types of members; Forum members and OB members.
I mean, the screenshot I attached proves it's OB's web firewall service that is doing it. The dev's IPs may be whitelisted which will prevent them from being impacted as well.
I was able to make it happen by opening roughly 8 tabs of OB pages in about 8 seconds. I was then blocked by the OB...
You replied too fast, I updated my post above as I was able to reproduce the exact issue by opening a bunch of tabs for the same thread as quickly as possible. It's not the forum software doing this, but seems like OB is using some wonky alternative to Cloudflare and its "attack" mitigation is...
Ok, I was able to reproduce this by opening multiple tabs as fast as possible. I just selected a thread, right clicked, and clicked "Open link in new tab" about 8 times and now my connection is being blocked. This may be a DDoS or similar "attack" mitigation method being used by whoever hosts...
I've tried this and haven't been able to reproduce it either, probably opened close to a dozen tabs for different threads in quick succession and not a single error. What message are you getting when you're "blocked"? Are you connecting to the forums through any services besides your ISP? You...
Problem is that doesn't get around fire bans/restrictions during fire season, which is what the OP was asking about. Those are great portable fire pits but since it still burns wood and releases embers it's still a danger and can't be used during fire bans.
