Offically confirmed Dorr Skeels is open for us! Bathrooms will be open No Water, so bring it with you there's a back loop that they will allow us to "block off" so we can camp near each other (if folks want to). No fee, (normally $16 a night) since they're not maintaining it this time of...

So Andrew and I had a blast. Did not make it to spar Lake ran into about 3 ft of snow. We were able to get within 2.8 mi away. We found a backup Dorr Skeels campground. Which actually works out better because it's very easily accessible and we can base camp there and go snow wheel...

As Dave said, I'll be calling the ranger station tomorrow. I think we'll be good, Dorr Skeels campground was plowed, and gates open. And web says it's open year round https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/kootenai/recarea/?recid=49912 Weather actually looks better than when @AcJ and I went Saturday...
