I only use GAIA for off-road use and use my Pioneer head unit for on-road navigation. I currently use Gaia Topo, Public Land (US), Private Land (US), MVUM (USFS), and USFS Roads and Trails. Map layering is one of the greatest features for us off-roaders/explorers.

When I go into the Play Store I do see the message "This app may not be optimized for your device" but it didn't prevent me from installing it. You could try the steps in the video I linked below but if you're not comfortable with that then definitely move to a new tablet.

I just received an update to OB1 this morning and the profile option now seems to be working.

I'm using the most recent version from the Android store and when I click on Edit Profile it causes the app to crash. Rebooting my phone did not resolve the issue. Google Pixel 3 XL Android 10

One of the great things about this coating is that it is UV reactant so you can use a blacklight on it to ensure that you've got everything covered. They also sell this stuff in spray form.
