There are cheaper alternatives. I ordered mine today through Amazon today (X-Bull Recovery Tracks @ $90), but since I haven't used them yet I can't give you my feedback on them.

Sounds good. I may also head up tomorrow after work and camp out for the night. But I'll have a definite by tomorrow. If not, I will be heading up Saturday.
From what I've been told, Cove has trails that range from easy greens to hardcore rock crawling trails. I've only been on one short single dirt/gravel trail at the Cove.

I had a similar question. One of the Mainline Overland reps at the MAOF mentioned that I can try airing down the spare a little to make sure it fits while it's stowed away and then airing it back up when I need it. It is a bit more tedious, but it's an option.

@Exped4x4 had mentioned in a previous post regarding a weekend trip to the Cove (near Winchester, VA). Looks like he'll be there from Friday-Sunday. I was going to head up for a day trip to wheel at the very least and possibly test out the new tent =)
