...in about 60 days and good things are to come.
I am excited to announce that I teamed up with Yozzy to create the YAK, Yozzy Adventure Kitchen for the trail, camp, or tailgate party! It’s pretty awesome! There are 3 models available which include custom lithium batteries, sink, burner, custom...
For those who have seen my Raider built, it's pretty small and integrated in terms of gear (it has to, to fit stuff), so it doesn't have a kitchen, just a slide-out fridge and storage boxes + 2 Kelty kitchen bags for food stuff and coffee stuff. This build isn't for that, it's for my Sequoia...
Hello,
I own SanDiegoOverlanding.com, we build custom truck bed kitchens and for vans as-well. Check out our newest kitchen build for a go faster camper, we used 8020 aluminum extrusion and wrapped some 1/4” wood sheets with vinyl. This whole project weighs about 100lbs which is very lights.
...and is extremely easy to tow by any vehicle since it packs to a super rugged and capable trailer. Huge pop up tent with annex, slide out kitchen in the back with two burner stove and sink, instant water heater for shower, 18 gal water tank, extra potable water containers, and so much storage...

This shows a quick "no build" kitchen setup on the side of truck, with timing for setup and cooking breakfast in 8 minutes. This is a useful type of Truck camp kitchen if you want to preserve your truck bed for hauling and doing truck-stuff. Here I am showing how easy and fast this no-frills...
Hello all,
My search skills seems to be failing me...or I'm using the wrong search words....but I can't seem to find much about roll-up kitchen utensil storage in the forums. There are a bazillion and one options out there so was hoping for some recommendations.
I'd rather just hear what you...
PapaDave's pullout got me thinking, but since it’s not available anymore, I decided to DIY from the ground up, taking inspiration from the love of his design. Inspired by my Dometic CX75, I jumped into making my own setup for my Ram, diving in without much in the way of guides or measurements...
in the back of my JK, how much space should I leave around the sides and top of my 12v fridge? Do I need to leave space for airflow to keep the compressor from overheating?
So I've been looking into this area quite some time. I just don't quite know where to start or necessarily the design. Was curious if some could share ideas. I did have a few ideas on my way to work this morning. Generally, I'm thinking a piece of plywood for the base lagged in with bolts from...
I found this gem at a yard sale, I’ve never seen one before, I don’t even know if it works, but I love the concept. Breakfast king, eggs, bacon biscuits and gravy!
I’m thinking to be useful it’s going to need a wind/heat shield added to the back. Question for the group anyone seen one before...
Somewhere along the line my dad acquired a Korean War era Mermite Insulated Food Container, or "Hot A's" for the vets. It's been in his possession a while and he sent it up to me. Example of how it used to look:
Basically you would put hot or cold water in the bottom, hot or cold food in the...
I’m starting to build a slide kitchen and was going to go off of some YouTubers’ recommendations and use 3/4” plywood. I’m afraid though that it will make it too heavy so wanted to get some benchmarks from what people here have done. FWIW I have a Tacoma with upgraded leaf pack and shocks.
I have for sale a lightly used Vehicle Mounted Kitchen (excellent condition), from the Nomad Kitchen Company. The “Original Nomad Kitchen” fits any SUV, Crossover, Wagon, Truck, or Van. The system’s small footprint measures 25” x 14” x 20” and includes 2 cutting boards and a fridge slide.
