    NC Piedmont/CLT Meet-Up Planning

Maybe pick two weekends in a row? That way if first is calling for rain, we can hopefully roll to next. But, as much as it has been raining on the weekend, going to be hard to find a dry one! Might want to make a month or so out to give time to schedule in? Or just meet up and do a day...

Hello, from Lake Wylie, SC. I am up for monthly meet up’s. I prefer Saturday or Sunday as meet up days. I think once we can get a feel for the group and what there rigs are capable of, that will determine what we as a group can do? Easy day trip could be Old NC105

Lake James Paddy campground and Old NC105

Camping in the rain is NO fun! Time before this trip, we went to Price lake camp ground in Blowing Rock, NC. It poured all night long, and barley sleep at all.

Lake James Paddy campground and Old NC105

The cot tents are quick and easy to setup. Usually put a tarp over to keep dry getting in and out in rainy weather. Was going to stay Saturday night, but did not know how bad the freezing rain and sleet would affect are tarps? If called for snow, would have stayed.
