    d-tail_wagon's 2016 Power Wagon

It's nice to see another PW build!!! Do you plan to lift or level and add bigger tires at some point? It kind of looks like it might already have both done!?I need to add our newly acquired 2018 to my existing build thread for my F-250. I can't be of any help in regards to the Smittybuilt RTT...

    Texas Spring RoundUp - 04/06/2018

We had hoped to make this last year, but something came up last minute, I think we are going to make it to this one though.

Event Cancelled - South Padre Island , Texas - 05/12/2018

May is out of the question for us unless it's the very first weekend. I am planning on doing a PINS run with a buddy sometime in late March if you or anyone else is willing to meet us in Corpus.

2017 F250 6.7L Diesel XLT Crew Cab "Billy Jean"

In no way would I ever put anything on that mounts to the body, you are just asking for body damage should you ever use it. That cannot be considered a true "rock rail" or "rock slider" if it doesn't bolt or weld to the frame, a nerf-bar or step maybe.

2017 F250 6.7L Diesel XLT Crew Cab "Billy Jean"

Congrats on the new truck!!! Your plans seem easily doable, lots of options out there for these 17+ Super Duties, the only thing holding any of us back is the pocket book as the mods for the HD trucks are always pricey. I am still looking for someone to make a set of rock sliders for these...

Cooler vs Fridge: Which is right for you?

I run a Yeti Roadie 20QT when I head out to the ranch, it usually holds a case of beer and some snacks. If I only need a 12 pack I'll throw it in the RTIC 20QT Soft Side Cooler. For camping/overlanding my plans are to keep the ice for drinks in the Yeti Roadie 20QT, all drinks...

2107 4Runner pro skid plate FAIL

Im guessing 2107 models are inferior to 2017 models? Ninety years to improve and innovate, what a shame. LOL

2107 4Runner pro skid plate FAIL

The tear along the seam and is interesting. Do you recall the obstacle or impact that caused that damage? At the end of the day it did its job, but I agree that I expected better. I'd look into a full underbelly skid system. We ran BudBuilt on our last 4Runner and I was extremely happy.

First Responders - Overland Bound Emblem Rocker

I am game for former military with branch logo and years of service on the banner. Very cool idea especially if you offer it beyond just active first responders.

Jerry Can, Rotopax, etc. which do you like?

I've always had Jerry cans in the past, I am going with Rotopax this time around. The price is a bit disgusting, but they are superior in most ways. I will be looking for deals and sales to acquire mine.

    2018 TRD Pro 4Runner

I am currently in the process of building out my 2017 Ford F-250, thread here https://www.overlandbound.com/forums/threads/2017-f-250-superduty-overland-camp-hunt-build.11892/ and all of the research, talk, ordering, purchases, excitement, anticipation, etc. has gotten the misses all hot a...

    OB Approved Chain Saws

I like it but that weight is ridiculous, I imagine the battery is the bulk of it. Good buy none the less.

The Brown Beast '84 Toyota FJ60

Beautiful rig! I was born in 1984 and I've always wanted an '84 FJ-60 Landcruiser in what I coined "Doo-Doo Brown" aka DDB. Needless to say, I am super jealous. Good luck with the build, I'll certainly keep up with the progress.

2017 F-250 Superduty and 2018 Ram Power Wagon

So I think I have stumbled upon the perfect solution for my bed/rack needs. I've always liked the idea of the Leitner Rack, but the leg supports run to the floor of the bed eliminating a bed cover option which I need for security and out of the weather storage of my luggage and other items when...

    What boots do members wear

REI always has them, other than that I'd look to Amazon. They are a great boot, sorta thin in the sole and foot bed but that provides better dexterity. I loved the two pair I had, but I simply couldn't get them to last/hold up so I moved on to other boots.

Show Me Your Chuckboxes/Camp Kitchen Setups

I love it! Looks heavy though.

Favorite truck bed setups with no topper?

I like the coverage and security of the fiberglass shell, but the durability is questionable at best. I like the Leitner Rack as well, but the fact that the supports go down into the bed doesn't allow for the use of a bed cover to provide security and storage. I have been going back and forth in...

    Post Your Overlanding Christmas Gifts

My other half paid for a small portion of the lift on the truck. My in laws got me some Factor55 items and a Currie Air Down Gauge/tool. I bought myself the GSI Pinnacle Camper Cook Set for the truck along with the lift/wheels/tires.

    What boots do members wear

I have a few different boots for different conditions, but most of the time I wear a Solomon Quest GTX. They are comfortable and provide great stability without being too stiff like some. One of the biggest reasons I wear Solomon is because they hold up and last. I have used Lowas in the past...
