I was planning a trip to The Stanislaus National Forest a couple of weeks ago and on the Forest Service map I saw "Fahey Cabin". My Route was going right passed it so I stopped by. It was built in the 1870's by a failed gold miner that started raising cattle.

I just received a pair of blue X-Bull 10T tracks today. I paid $79.98 with free shipping and they came with a storage bag. They seem pretty durable. Obviously only time will tell. I will be doing a little exploring this weekend and will report back if I need to use them.

I know nothing about drones, but I do know that they make off road videos about 10 times better. You can't beat the aerial shots to see what is happening and the dramatic effect.
You could try the route below and camp at Briceberg. It is a decent campground right on the Merced River. You might want to call ahead and make sure the route is open there is a lot of storm damage and downed trees in the area. If any of the trails are closed there are alternative routes. There...
