I wanted to add a huge thank you to Cal Fire and all the other participating agencies, in driving around the area I saw home after home where everything around the structures was burned but the homes were saved. I cannot believe how many homes were saved due to their efforts.
I live close to where the Detwiler Fire started and a friend of mine lives at the corner of Bear Valley Rd and Hwy 49 in Bear Valley 2-3 miles form where the fire started in Hunters Valley. Fortunately his home was saved as were most in the area however his property and 80,000 acres around it...
Awesome Photos, I was in the area a couple of weeks ago. If you take FR 6N06 (the road Fence Creek CG is on) all the way to the end there is a great lake for swimming and cliff diving. Sword Lake, it is about 4 mile hike in, but definantely worth it. The water is much warmer than you would...
That is one of the products they have at etrailers, I suggested them over other outlets because they have many manufacture's including Yakima pre-packaged by make and model with different types of load bars, etc. When i was looking I found it to be a much easy shopping exprience than other...

I have ADD bumpers front and rear, they make quality products but they certainly aren't cheap. Wilco has a similar roof top system along with some tailgate replacements to mount full size spare tire swing and recovery equipment and Jerry cans.
Are you looking for a permanent solution or something you can remove? Etrailer has some pretty good solutions for a "naked" roof that does not require any drilling. They also havs a nice bed rack that you can install and remove in about 10 minutes from Inno. Below is link to their site. If you...
It is pretty tough to find dispersed camp sites on most of the lanes in Stanislaus NF and with the amount of run-off this year most of the river spots are not very kid friendly. When are planning on going? If you are looking for August I could give you a couple of Ideas on the Clavey river that...
