I’ve been looking for a plain edge, fixed blade for camping for a few weeks. Finally pulled the trigger on a Benchmade Nimravus 140 that was on sale for 25% off. Website showed exactly what I wanted, so I ordered it Tuesday. It showed up today, and it’s the partially serrated version. I reached...
Well, I was supposed to get the plain edge drop point. But the website was not right. Didn’t know this until it arrived. They only have the combo edge drop point. I’m trying to decide if I keep it or return. The price was 25% off, so costly to go to the plain edge from somewhere else.
I'm trying to do my part in keeping the economy going. Just this week I purchased a new chainsaw, another Benchmade, and some stuff for my mountain bike...My bank account hurts
Great Smokey Mountains NP and Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina along with trips around North AL and TN. Possibly doing some the Georgia Traverse.
It’s funny you posted this because I was having the same issue earlier this week for my LR5. I can’t find anything for it. I ended up ordering a generic fabric panel to test out. I might be interested if the panel I got doesn’t work out.

Work has been keeping me busy the last two weeks, but that didn’t mean I wasn’t making progress. Since the last post, I have run the power to the top and connected the first pair of lights. I’m still not certain on how best to run the wire, so I just have it run to the rack and zip-tied in...
Well, made some progress this weekend. My goals were to:
Build the battery box
Install the battery isolator
Run power to the roof rack
The battery box was really fun to see it come together. Using MTM’s AC35 and a number of Powerwerx electrical parts, I was able to create a container that is...
A few days later and several hours of researching different connectors/ways to get wire out of the back (and rethinking how to mount a battery in the engine compartment), I figured it made more sense to mount the battery inside the cabin but removably. This would allow easier access to the...
I posted this on another forum for Land Rovers, but feel it's just as applicable for OB. Photo heavy...
After a significant amount of researching, I haven't seen a good discussion on adding a secondary battery to the Disco. So, I figured I would document my efforts. This is an ongoing project...
