Good point...that is why I came to this site. Plus, wheeling alone is a risk.

I have a deep cycle with solar. I can take it out when I want and did not have to alter my Jeep WJ wiring, which was iffy, in my opinion, since the day it was released from the factory' assembly line (in some cases). Just my two cents worth.

I have a Jeep WJ and was thinking of doing this DIY... like you I'm not sure.

Nice truck. The FJ is a cool looking rig. I built up a Jeep WJ, I like it! Had a CJ5 but was small, but cool! I wish I lived somewhere out west coz Kansas City offers little to no wheeling to speak of. Later
