Won't be able to make it after all. Turns out the rig needs the rear axels replaced due to a common manufactures defect. Probably best I stay behind lest my wheels (and rotors) are likely to snap right off.
Hey, Yes, I just got back. There were some nice views down by Florence lake, but these trails were super foggy, so I didn't find the grand vistas I was hoping for.
Also the road up to the Mt. Tom fire lookout is closed and also 7S005 west of the West Kaiser Creek Campground so had to turn...
Thinking of taking a short trip to just south of Yosemite over Labor Day w/e. Starting in Coarsgold and heading to Florence lake and back. Most of this is on pavement, but thinking of exploring the dirt north of the Kaiser Wilderness and around Mammoth Pool on the way back.
Anyone familiar...
I assume you mean the East Bay Meetup; yes, but only once this past summer. Pleasanton Ridge is not super far from me so I'd like to go again. But I'm happy someone setup a meeting a little closer.
(In case you're asking about Corteo, I've been to 2 or 3 Cirque du Soleil shows before, but...

What kind of hot water heater are you using? I've got a Joolca and water doesn't get more than 110F and takes a bit of time to ramp, so I can't imagine getting much radiant heat from that.
Got an F150 PB at the end of Oct. Ordered a Project M topper for it (Delivery in June). Building it out for my family 4 (+ dog) as more of a camper than a true overloading rig, but do hope to take it on some remote backroads.
First DIY component will be a slide out kitchen. Have some...
Hey Dave, Been following this thread for a bit and I'm impressed with your design and commitment to turning it into a productk
I've been wondering: Before you built the 80/20 pull kitchen that served as the prototype for the current product, it looks like you had built a pretty nice wooden...
