I'm always prepared to roll the dice. I usually have enough with me to get me out of a situation. I have had to walk away from my rig on two occasions. Once due to me finding out that my spare was padlocked to the back on a new to me car (I've since checked physically, AND bring bolt cutters)...
What size memory card do you recommend for storing offline maps? I'm out of town a lot and I'd like to have enough memory to cover a decent area at a time. Thanks!
I'm pretty sure I know the answer already but I wanted to check before I paid anyway, but if I purchase a membership for Gaia on my phone, I can also log in on a tablet if I get one at a later date right? It's not paid by device but by membership?
There is a lot to see. You could swing over from Roger's on through Jarbidge, NV. It's very pretty there. 12 mile hot springs outside of Wells, NV. South of Wells are the Ruby Mountains. That'd be a nice drive. Or Goshute Cave near Currie. More hot springs near the Wayne Kirch wildlife area...
So I've found that these Tupperware fit great in an ARB 47 quart fridge:
There's still room for drinks, another big Jar of soup or whatever and or fruit and veggies still. If you have anything to add or share, or think please feel free to add.
How do you guys store and carry your Cat Iron while Overlanding and traveling? I'm in the process of searching for some sort of bag or something to store mine in while in transit.
I'd love to go, but I leave across the state for work on the 13th and won't be back for a bit. There are a lot of public lands that need to be cleaned! See you out on the trails soon.
