And Death Valley:
I got an Early start, and hiked up Gower Gulch from the parking lot on the Badwater side. I did a figure 8 up to the top of Golden Canyon, JUST shy of Zabriskie Point, and then back down to Gower Gulch and over to and then down Golden Canyon. I made the detour over to Red...
A few more. I spent 2 weeks recently camping and hiking around Death Valley and Beatty, NV.
I had the good fortune of booking a room at the newly reopened Belvada Hotel in Tonopah.
I've been camping at this spot outside of Beatty for 8 years now and it never gets old. It's always been open...
I'll be down there over Valentine's Day weekend as well. I'm planning on doing some backpacking in Lemoigne Canyon, and also checking out some other slot canyons around the valley.
I'm headed down there tomorrow. I'm going to spend a few days exploring before I head to work in Beatty. I'm planning on hiking from Emigrant Campground over to Lemoigne Canyon to explore some mining features, and then a few other day hikes or short overnights to check out a few other slot...
Has anyone had any experience with these? I saw one today and I thought it was kinda cool looking. Not too much clearance stock, but cool nonetheless. Apparently less than 600 were made and about 300 were sold.
It's a Vixen 21, made between 1986-1989.

A buddy and I did the "Big Brake" upgrade today, using the Montero Sport brake rotors, caliper brackets, and backing plates, however the backing plates will have to get on later, 6 of the 8 bolts broke due to rust. We didn't gave time to drill and tap all 6.
I just recently bought this rig to travel around the west. It's an intermediary rig while I finish my other montero, which may get its own thread at some point.
It's a 97 with the stock rear air locker. 33 inch Goodyear Duratracs. I flew out to Salt Lake City in October and drove it back to...
I just duct tape the corners and edges of mine and keep them on my front seat as I'm always pulling them out and looking at them. I try not to take the same road twice unless I have to, so I'm always looking at them. I find that one fits in between the seat and the center console too on most...
I ended up downloading the gaia GPS topo, as the tile size limit is 100,000 tiles instead of 10,000 which sped up the process of getting the state of Nevada available for offline use.
I've been trying to find and load a hot springs (Specific to Nevada, but I'd take any or all.) And whenever I try to load the kml file into Gaia, I get an error message unable to load file. Any help? Has anyone else had issues or know how to get it done?
Is there an efficient way to download large maps for offline use? I'm not worried about space, I have a 256gb card in my tablet with a 400gb card in the way. It just takes so long to figure out where my last map downloaded was, and stretch the new one to download. I'm running gaia on android, so...
