Did a driveway alignment today. My steering wheel was all kinds of off. Feeling like I definitely need a steering box brace because the steering on these XJ Cherokees is just super sloppy regardless of how many new parts you throw at it and how many times you align it..

Love grand cherokees! I’ve only seen a couple lifted with bigger tires but they look great. I actually have the same steering wheel. I got lucky at the junk yard and they actually bolt right into the earlier Cherokees.

I agree on the CVT sentiments! They are terrible. When my wife started looking for a new smaller SUV we ended up with a compass, but the patriots are pretty nice too. I wanted one when they first came out. I'm excited to see where you go with this build.
