I agree with this. Much of the community is not active on these forums (for some unknown reason). Many of the OB peeps are on the regional fb pages and receive the news via that source mainly. --- The last meet I held a few months ago at Ace was a solid turnout. Hoping we can all get together...
Hey guys, I live in FL but have family in Charlotte NC. I would love to meet up with you guys sometime this year if you had the free time to ride here. I will be at the Expo this year from the 8th to the 12th of November. Pretty stoked to get back up to NC.
I grew up in North Carolina. Originally from Connecticut. I have been living in FL since I was 18 years old (6 years) primarily for school and work. --- Yes, we have visited Knoxville and Chattanooga TN. We prefer Knoxville for many reasons. I am a multi-media designer that designs military...
Thank you every one who was able to show up at the Overland Bound Ace Cafe Meet n Greet! I think every can agree it was a great turnout and there were so many awesome rigs there to check out. I may hold another event at Ace Cafe in November, so keep an eye out for it!
Welcome back to the community. There is always somthing new to learn within the forums. My girlfriend and I were planning on moving up to knoxville TN next year in June / July. I have spent 6 years in FL and was raised in NC. I'm itching to get back up North and so is she. Pretty stoked to...
Thank you every one that came to the OB Meet n' Greet at Ace today! It was great time meeting most of you and we should definitely do this again soon! (Next time we will get out on the trails)

ESEE Knives are TOP NOTCH knives for the bush. Personally I would suggest going with an un-serrated ESEE 6 for practicality purposes. With the 6 you can chop, split, shave, notch, stab, skin and crush with precision and assurance. The ESEE 6 is on my list of wants for my next bushcraft /...
I bring my STIHL 025 16'' saw with me when I go camping out in the dense forrest. There is loads to learn about the safety of saws and how they work before operating one safety and properly.
"Much like a firearm; chain saws are tools not toys. Never loose the respect for the saw or it will be...
Regardless of the circumstances I always have a fire arm in arms reach if absolutely needed. When it comes to solo camping I can would rather have a firearm than not. It is up to the campers discretion if he or she wants to load LTL's or Lethal ammunition for a defense scenario.
Use common...
The bridle strap technique is not so common however very effective. Especially out on the beach or just to direct a pull with precision. I really like this method of recovery since it distributes the shock load to the hookup points on the rig. Nice write up!
