I am
also originally from CT. Moved down to NC when I was about 10 years old. Been in FL for last 7 years and decided it is time to move out west with the gf. Very excited to meet new people in the community out there and hit some cool trails. Nice photo!
I had designed Morse Code cards once. I used this same waterproofing method to assure they wouldn't get ruined out in the field. Cool thing was they were on glow in the dark ink paper! So once laminated cut and perfected I would hand them out to friends and they found them useful at night too.
I have a friend who was wondering what tools he would need in order to pave some trails on his land. His land is primary consumed of dense forrest in NC.
I recommended:
• Gas chain saw with sharp chain
• Bow Saw / hand saw
• Long shears
• Heavy Axe
• Tough woodsman line (for hauling or...
GOBI rack! Mine was bought second hand from a local guy who had one laying around. I am the 3rd owner of this Ranger rack from GOBi and besides the hardware replacements it has taken the beating of 2 kayaks and 2 major cross country trips.

I will seconds the Teraflex 2.5'' spring lift. It's a kick ass lift that feels stock considering you get the Fox 2.0 shocks or similar. I am also on 35's and this lit as done it all.
The systems intended purpose is to use both plates opposite of each other interlaced with the nylon ratchet strap around the spare tire. Once strapped down the plates wont move and you can mount j cans or tools to the plates. Very cool invention.
Recently I have noticed a few of the members confused on where to 'RSVP'. This has also stumped myself in the past as I was searching all over the Rally Point page to find an attendance button in order to show others I am going to the event.
One of the members had to screenshot a picture of...
This is my review on the 'RSE EZ Rack' kit for the RotoPax cans and accessories.
The system is well designed and a breeze to instal. The kit ships with 1 nylon ratchet strap and 2 steel mounting plates that are to be woven through the nylon strap. Once the pax mounts have been installed onto...
