today I made a few minor mods to my roof rack. I removed the plastic coating from the crossbars and added a set of ARB awning mounts. I had to do some drilling, but I think that the ARB mounts are sturdier than the set of FOURTECKS I originally had on their. I plan on painting the rack come spring.

I'm looking forward to making this run with a great group of guys & gals, it also gives me the opportunity to test out my little Suzuki on different terrains.

I picked up a couple of wool blankets and turned one of them into an oversized pillowcase and cut down a egg crate pillow top and put it into the oversized pillow case and I also picked up a small space heater that I can plug into our office trailer while we are waiting...
cool set up! thanks for sharing. I think entering your rig into a car show is an awesome way to get out there and talk with people about overlanding. I entered my little rig into a car show last month and it was a great way to talk with people.
I don't have the option of accessorizing my spare tire unless you consider holding your folding table / sleeping platform and storage compartment as accessorizing. LOL
