The tent when packed, up is slightly more than 6 ft long. It will not lay flat in a Double cab Tacoma bed with the tail gate up. I’ll be back home tomorrow and can get exact measurements for you.

Hey Quad, thanks for the input and the pictures.
Steve, regarding your question abut the rain fly or awning, I hope Quads pictures better explain the setup.
As I posted above, there are no accessories available thru CVT. I suppose one could get a zipper and a piece of the tent material and...
The Subaru roof rails not have a slot in the back for a plate with a welded nut. I did that on my 4Runner and it worked great.
I also tried the u-bolts facing downward but the roof rail is a good bit narrower than the bars. Resulting in the plates bending due to a lack of support underneath...
I'm gonna use these 1"x3" bars to span the factory roof rails on my 2015 Subaru Forester. These will hold my roof box as well as a mountain bike on each side. This is a per trip basis install and I will remove them after each trip.
At present, the only way I can see to mount them, without...
LOL! Yes you did! Hope you continue to enjoy the RTT.
I substantially downsized vehicles and the CVT no longer fits for me. Time to pass it on down the line.
Nah. If I said it happened. It happened.
Post and pics below if you want to eat crow. Absolutely no drilling to the truck what so ever.

Hey Guys,
My girl and I are preplanning a trip from central Georgia up to see and camp around the park. I see that there is one camp ground but was hoping to by pass the crowds and get in some dispersed camping.
Any Overland Bound members locals to the area willing to help me out?
Thx, Eddie
We went ahead and jumped on a spot about 3 miles from the REEB Ranch. Hopefully the expo will run a shuttle so we wont have to move vehicles in and around our spot. It looks like a small campground from Google maps. Now just waiting on ticket to the show.
Yes, you can, and I am gonna do it, when I retire. So, 57 yrs old (by then) and a fixed retirement income. I'll go where a tank of gas will take me and then wait till the next deposit hits. In a Land Rover, that tank won't get me very far! LOL!
