I love the Kennedy Meadows area off of 395 outside of Bishop. Also, Lone Pine has some amazing trout fishing throughout the small creek that runs through the camp ground.
I have been pondering the idea of getting a Samsung Tab for Navi and for using Torque with my BT OBD2 system. It would be much better than a 5" phone haha.
If you get the chance to go check out Jerome, AZ do so! It is a great little operating Ghost Town with a massive plethora of history including the Gold King Mine. Don at the GKM has an amazing collection of antique automobiles and equipment that is still in operation to this day. We have found...
I have packed out probably a couple tons of other peoples trail trash over the years. When I was involved with RTF we would literally have to heli lift our sacks of garbage out after the Jamborees. It was heart breaking. I always keep trash bags in my rig and literally stop while driving...
I myself am an Army Vet. I understand that meaning and emotion that comes with the gift and honor of a challenge coin. I carry my B4 ASI coin in my pocket daily. I have others that I have been given that sit in a display case at home but this one is very special to me. I love this idea and will...
I tend to always have one of my sidearms with me when camping, fishing, hiking or hunting. I have only had to draw my civilian weapon one time (involving a human being) and I did not have to utilize it. I have however had to use my weapon while fishing and hiking. I have had a stand off with a...

You are very welcome. I try to stay as clean as possible when I am out and about exploring as we need to keep our trails and forests happy. Glad to be of some help.
I was just curious if anyone else here carries Pig Mats with them in their vehicles for the unfortunate event that you have to absorb automotive fluids while on the trail? I carry a roll of these with me at all times. Individual mats are given to driver during Jamboree events on the local trails...
I am an avid hunter and LR Shooter. Both competition back in the day and for leisure. Pretty much if it flies or walks it dies lol...But not everything that flies or walks...have to read the regs and be conscious of what critters are around you.

As an LMR Operations Manager I can tell you this...If I were you I would spring for a 10M converted radio such as the Stryker SR-94HPC. It has more carrier power and output power than a typical CB which will help you out. A standard CB rig puts out about 4-5 watts of power whereas a converted...
