The better half had a old body 2011 escape that we took alot of places. Nice well built car. She sold it and bought a f150 but some a/t tires on that lil escape and it went anywhere. Great in the snow!
Oh I totally understand that side of things cowboyed for a few places that had public land permits and that was the frustrating part about that. Same with archery hunters with stock on permit land. People dont get the fact of if its closed reclose it
Yes bunce school road is the name! I havent been up in that area in a long time. Poll hill road is nother good one. Another way to get to estes park. Pretty open for a full size.
@old_man probably knows more of the names than I do that are west of lyons. Cant remember the name of it but one goes up to an old military plane crash. That one was a bit tight for me
Lookout mountain from ballard road is a fun one.. have you done the one west of westcliff colo that drops into the great sand dunes national park? I havent but if has alot of sand and water crossings
Oh i gotcha there. There are alot west of loveland fort collins. 7mile and old flowers road ballard road. Are ones that arent to bad for a stock pickup. Green ridge is good for a built one if its a short box it can move around ok. Killpecker and sandcreek roads are both fun If you look at maps...
I do alot with bullhide 4x4 and fort collins 4x4. Both in Fort Collins. The bullhide place does very good work with heavy duty pickups. I had them do a ton of stuff with a ram 5500 i had and was pleased. If you like working on your stuff you can get parts pretty quick. Or they install but they...
The nice thing about those 2500 is they already have a tall stance. A pro an con for some is the 3/4 ton gm has a independent front end. So leveling it will bring the front up how ever many inches a leveling kit levels it. The lifts really just allow you to get bigger tires under it and flex...
There was a place in fort collins that had a lifted tacoma early 2000s. mrautocars.com. It had a new tranny new timing belt. Had a bunch of work done to it that they wanted 10.9 for it. Not sure if they still have it. I am from fort collins
I am sure someone will correct me with the correct name of it. There is an app called overlander? Where it shows alot of boonedocking and formal none formal camp areas and areas that are hots spots. Even shoes parking in alot of places. If i can find the actual name ill repost it. But its been...
Always in a place where they know its safe! Not a turkey hunter but always amazed at these wild
Birds! Never hunted them because I don’t like wild turkey. Upland and big game have always been my interest. Driving home the other day and came across them. Two big toms and a big ol hyrum of gals...
With the snowshoeing season coming to an end we got dumped a pile of new wet snow in the high country. Hope to get some treking in this weekend.
