Yeah thats a pretty stout tire! Mine just has the 285 60s. Thought about doing the 295s but didnt want rub issues but that was before the lift. Glad I run a ram instead of chevy
Yeah ive seen some reviews where people say dont air the down. Popping a bead or damaging side wall and seen some say they so it all the time.. from my experience with off roading the side wall on the 20s suck. My 08 hemi I had before this one. I swapped the 20s for 17s and was a good switch...
Yeah fall river is about it for Rocky Mountain National Park. There are a couple dirt spurs along highway 7 that take back into Park trail heads. That fall river road is fun when it has just about enough mud to make things slick.
Captial Reef is fun too has some neat exploring like canyon...
So I live 3o miles from Rocky Mountain National Park. They Dont have much for off road trails. Been to the ones around Moab and have great trails. The ram is in the shop this weekend so we took the Herve into the park this weekend ans went on a nice hike. But wished Rocky Mountain...
You pretty much are on the right track. You have to look at it as what do I need to have fun but yet what do I need if things dont go right. But you have it listed in ways of what you cant live with out first which is really good. Id swap number three and six. You need water fuel...
So on my half ton Ram it came with factory 20in wheels. I know there are a pile of cons to them on an off road rig. But does anyone air them down? I havent. I am going to 17 inch wheels after the first of the year. That short side wall isnt very fun
We have a big one at home that we have yet to wear out. But its a weber q grill. They make a smaller one that is nice to store away for camping( one reason I always chose a pickup over a suv. always have room for stuff!) I worked as a Firefighter for 8 years so it is always a stove over...
I saw that chevy came out with a diesel Colorado. A duramax diesel and a zr2 package would be a bomb off road rig. I have always wanted a lil frame pickup but doesn’t work well having horses. Id choose the colorado with the factory lockers. One less thing you’d have to put on. A...
Thats why I went the cooper that I did had 50k mile wear The ko2 ive never had any luck with. Found the tread rips off pretty easy. The falken tires are pretty good from what ive heard
I am a truck driver by trade. So good Tires to me are the most important besides a full fuel tank and some good tunes to getcha there..
I am in search of a tire not just any tire..but a real good type.
I have some cooper all terrain tires AT3 dispite rotating them as often as they...
These could probably give you a bad powder burn if your on top of them. Its not like a real shotgun blank that could actually hurt you from concussion being close enough. Or like a breach blank rounds. They are really just cap guns.
Yeah I always scout out an area before its like heres the spot. I dont like camping near bear activity or near places that have alot of berrys stuff they like to eat. Or around an area that has people.
its not a live ammo. You cant actually put a live round in any of those devices. Its a noise maker. Like a cap on a childs toy.. a blank pop. Or like bells on twine. Just alot louder. And its not a booby trap like fear for my life. It just lets you know something is there. I have...
I agree with the poppers! The cons out weigh the pros on that aspect. But it is another methode. You are right about the transients around colorado and its only getting worse. Here in fort collins and i can only imagine its 1000 times worse in denver. Ever corner You take a ride around...
I agree with this post 100%. We normally camp with our dogs and they normally sense something is around before we do. I have a heeler that takes it fully upon her self to always be on the look out and keep her guard up. When we dont is when I fully agree there should be a warning device...
Had one of these as a work crew transport back when they first started making them. Was a v10 sucker could flap move but was always a chore keeping the gas tank topped off haha. Id have to say id pick one over a burban any day if they still made them. A good used one is hard to find thats not...
I am no expert and a very amateur mountain biker but it’s something that has sparked my interest to get farther into. I just have a hard tail trek mountain bike but it works an its a bug that you cant get a enough of. Pretty easy to toss your bike in the pickup and go glad I found this thread.
