Those small block motors are beasts!! Bet that sucker runs like a raped ape. Grandfather had a 77 checy two door short box. Ol square hood! Converted the all time 4 wheel drive to a manual shift put locking hubs on it. Always ran small skinny tires on the sucker but no doubt would run circles...
There are alot of vehicle types that put that breather right in the dang wheel well. The cold air intake is great. That open air box Your right. That clean cool air from a snorkel. Yeah it might have a longer travel but your not gonna choke it down that much. Still a big ol round tube...
Do you like the eco diesel? Are you running stock size tires? I looked at the eco before I bought my hemi and figured the hemi still would out preform the eco diesel. I suppose my 20 mpg is worse compared to it. Nice set up!
These are Rigid lights. And you could set them up to be on different switches but these are linked. When I figure a bed rack system id like to put some in the back of the truck. Ive seen some folks put amber lights on a hood mounts But these suckers are pretty sweet.
I dont have much for trail lighting. I went with the hood mounted ditch lights. They are just as handy as pockets on a shirt. Dont like the light bar on the top look. But these are hybred floods. Throw light like crazy
Dead man has alot to offer. Has a bunch of trails I take my 1500 with a three inch lift and 33 inch tires. Fun area. Vedauwoo is cool. Super easy to get into

What is the one thing that you cook that is cooked on every trip? We normally pack dry foods or mountain house type food because of the worry of food spoilage issues. But normally have a big meal...
All of these answers are very good and very helpful. I happen to be a guy that learns from real life experiences. I travel alone alot and have had a few issues Ive had to work threw over the years. But you learn from your mistakes, I agree with practice.. if you have a winch play with...
Those AEV parts are cool! Thats where ive been looking for mine. Yeah anymore I normally travel with a couple of cheap filters. When i ran my 5500s in the oilfield hotshotting. Id get so burned out cleaning them every week cus of the dust collection. If not more. So I just use the...
