Made a run to Santiago Peak on Saturday. Made some new friends, had a great time, ate good food, provided for some hungry/ thirsty hikers, and cleaned up the peak some upon our arrival. All in all a good day.

I plan on being there. I can't do a trail run though. It would be nice to meet some of the people I've been talking to online.

bronco12 , maybe we can check on the reason for the closure and see if we can get future access for a group trail run. Is it closed for fires? I was just up driving through that area that weekend and saw a lot of fire crews, though I figured they were going somewhere else. Maybe there is a fire...
