Hey all. We're planning on running the Mojave road around the November 18th weekend. Plans are loose at this point, kids have the week off, so we're fairly flexible on dates too. Likely 2 or 3 nights I'll have my 3 kids (3, 5, 7yrs old) my wife, dog, and trailer in tow. Last time we tried...

On the way up or down run WABDR. Backroad route crossing Washington state north/south. Theres 6 legs (I think) of the trail,you can run portions if you're in a hurry.

So take back what I said. The ride is super plush especially at higher speed off-road. Obviously less noticeable on road...but I also drive like a grandma compared to my wife. now I need to update the rear to match.

We're heading out for a few weeks this weekend and decided to rebuild my rear storage solution. I used MDF for the first version, this one I'm using 3/4 smooth plywood. Some progress pics. Using 24"slides from TCH Hardware Got the tank and compressor mounted up. It's loud in the cab, but...

Yup I had to reverse out, with a trailer mind you. Pretty sketch with the drop off to the driver side.

Sorry just seeing this. We left the bay area mid June. Moab was HOT, white rim was even hotter. Something to consider.

I bet...that stuff dries rick hard. I power washed the under carriage and wheels when I got home that night.

We did this trip a few years ago except from Norcal over three weeks. Recommend White Rim, Moab in general, and Ouray. I've got a trip report on here

Some makes of rear bumpers provide better departure angles. If you go with a tire carrier even better to get your tire out from under the rig. Side protection for our rigs and aftermarket bumpers I'd argue is negligible.

Can't tell any difference on the road from the Radflos I ran previously. Heading out tomorrow to hollister to flex it out.
