My first venture out is end of May. Really the only distance run we plan this year, then mostly in our own region. I really don't see us changing any plans as of now. As my daughter says (I overheard her); "Do worry about my parents! They've be social distancing for 20yrs now." As funny as it...
Ah.. I may have worked through it.. I found another I used to run that should be (typically is) gated right now and it doesn't state closed. I will say, nice score on this map! I hadn't seen it before. I use the MVUM on Gaia for NF's, this may be better updated.
I still say this is 'way' over blown, yet probably the best is to postpone for now.
We still can do some scouting, planning and talk about possible runs online here or set up a side conversation in the meantime.
Update!
Gaia responded today and BRMB had been updated with new tracks/trails and the legion had not. All is in process now. This track (I questioned) is the TCT (trans Canada trail).
Question for ya'll. I'm looking into yet another area in Canada and using Backroads Mapbooks layer. What is this dotted red route?
On a MVUM that would be an unmaintained jeep trail.
I did that on mine, PMF that is.. The cheap canvas, well looks like cheap canvas when done. Using a good cloth (duck is really nice) and using a quality paint (so it will last) prices out right about the same as 'glassing. I will 'glass next time. Did a cost comparison on TNTT with another that...
I ran Boston to Bozeman and got 35hrs, the run through Canada came out as 38hrs. Not all that much more time. My plan in the UP is at least two nights in the NF and run the forest roads across. I could lose 2-3 days easy there.
Another is now showing me how much there is on the Canadian side...
Follow my link above and that's a good start for a supplier. Be careful with Aliexpress or Alibaba until someone recommends the specific supplier. Far too many are following the marketing and spending far too much. Then again, if you can afford and feel better buying from those.. do so.
You plan to fiberglass this?
Are you familiar with Teardrops N Tiny Trailers build forum? Great forum for builds.

Andrew, you should take a look at going north in Vermont and traveling across Canada to Sault St Marie! I do that now and love it. Puts you in the Michigan UP and a few Nationals to drive through. This is my route for this May as I go west again. This is mostly Forest Roads!!
As you clear the Parries of SD the fun really starts at the Badlands National Park. Come in on the West Side and just before the entrance to the park you'll see a radio tower on your left. Free paces to camp along the 'Wall'.
At least drive through Deadwood SD (you won't have time to go in...
I'm switching over from dual 6v's this spring. My battery is already here and will be buying the DC/DC shortly (going with this Renogy DC/DC 20a). I rarely stay put over 3 days, so last trip (6,800 miles) we took out the solar panel almost by habit vs. requiring. That was charging the LA's from...
This will be the second time crossing as I head westward to South Dakota to see family. Last time we ran along Lake Superior and enjoyed the run! This time I hope to run through Hiawatha NF and Chequamegon-Nicolet NF. Hiawatha NF seems to be split E/W by the Superior State Forest...
Anyone...
You can load the .gpx file into Google Maps as well. That way you can still view and look around a bit. I went Gaia Pro ($$) mainly to get Canada Backroads Mapbooks. Several other features come along with Pro (mainly USA based) that I really like.
New Brunswick has it's own site as well. This...
I've truly embraced technology! I learning Gaia GPS and with this Backroads Canada it just shows so much info. I think I still have some maps around here... LOL
Our first retirement run was the Maritime Run and very much enjoyed it ! I felt we ran through lower NB to quick and this run is to...
