Is there anything that we need to bring if going on the drive? Or is the trail or trails we are going to be looking at driving fairly easy? Supplies, tools or things of that nature?
Nice man! Got a question. You look familiar. Were you the guy with the Subaru that was featured on Truck Yeah? If so, I loved that feature! And I second the cheesesteak from Dalessandros!
That little puddle looks like fun. Just not sure if I would be able to make it through or if I am high enough. I would love to do a drive off road but not rock crawling. Easier stuff.
I would be down for that. Maybe a centralized location? The Uwharrie spot would be nice but not sure about it's condition right now judging by the previous posts. Weekdays are difficult for me just because of work.
Hi everyone! Anthony from NC and I just signed up after watching the channel for a few months now. I have a 2013 Expedition EL that I am looking forward to taking the less traveled roads out there.
Thanks for having me along for the rides!
So after a week of buying it, I had it lifted about 2.75" and threw on some 18x9 Fuel Trophy wheels and Hankook Dynapro ATM tires. Same tires I had on the other ones. I just couldn't keep the 20" anchors that it came with. I wish there were more polished or silver wheels for trucks but majority...
I did manage to pick up some new wheels from a guy on the Expedition Forum. He lives in Winston Salem and he met me in Greensboro at the Coliseum. He was taking his kid to the Monster Truck Rally, I believe. I was able to score some 2010 OEM 6 Spoke Expedition wheels for $75. For all 4. Could...
Well as I get started, the first one breaks. Great. Used the tool to remove the remaining piece. Tool worked great, by the way. Put anti-seize on the threads and on the body, careful not to get any near the electrode. Ford recommends this to prevent any carbon build up on the body. Went to work...
Found a taillight at a local junk yard for $35. Good, because the red and clear tape on the taillight was not working well. Fixed that. My rear bumper was bandaged and a drift stitch was placed on the rear. This is temporary until I can spend some money on it.
Aug 2014- The...
Thought I would start my build thread here. Just a run down of my previous SUV to my newer SUV. They are still named the same and have the same goals in mind. Here is The Airline V1.0. 2005 XLT 4x4 with power folding third row and towing package.
I love how comfy it is and long drives are...
Exactly. I gotta get my build thread started over here. It isn't much. Just a 2.5 lift and Hankook Dynapro ATM tires. But I am definitely looking to see what else catches my eye.
Not diesel, but I think it's Extra Length/Long. It's about 15 inches longer than the standard Expedition. So still have the third row but don't need to fold the seats down to haul anything.
