Cool project! I just got Falken Wildpeaks A/T3w (275/70R17) for my Ranger on a whim and so far I really like them! I just did a 900 miles drive in 13 hours on them, on the highway, and felt they were comfortable for highway use. They certainly look the part on my Ranger; I hope hey are good...

I ended up not having time to mess with it before I left. Halfway to my destination it started driving me crazy so I stopped and bought tape. It didn't help. Hahahaha It's going to take some more time and attention to isolate the cause.

I'm excited/unexcited. I'm leaving for a trip from GA to NJ tomorrow, and while pre-flighting my truck, I became unhappy with my tires (factory Hankook Dynapro 255/65/R17). There is no time to get new tires on the truck before I leave at 3AM tomorrow morning, so I've gotta run what I brung...

Yeah, it's not the snorkel. I had that on their for months of high speed use prior to the rack and tent.

I installed my Xtrusion Overland rack on my truck at a buddy's house, and then we hopped in the truck to drive up to my office, about a 30 minute drive on the interstate, to get my tent installed on the truck. That drive was the last time my truck didn't whistle while driving interstate speeds...

Has anybody had any luck fitting an aftermarket cover over a Dometic fridge? I have a CFX28 now, and saw how a hot car can effect it's performance. The fridge's display read 60°F! (At least my water was still actually cool!) I looked at the Dometic cover for it but it's $100! :hushed:
